G-Node Cloud Client

G-Node Cloud *(G-Cloud)* is a service within the IoT+Plan platform that allows G-Nodes
to be accessed over the internet, even if they do not have publicly assigned IP addresses.

Each G-Node establishes a secure, encrypted tunnel to the iotplan.io servers.
Clients can then reach a G-Node through a simple URL in the format **gnode-<serial_number>.iotplan.io** over HTTPS.
This ensures secure communication between clients and the G-Node.
For enhanced security, there is also an option to generate a long, unique URL for accessing the G-Node.

The G-Node Cloud Client is enabled by default but can be disabled in the G-Node settings.
However, please note that disabling it will result in the loss of access to your G-Node via
iotplan.io! To re-enable this feature, you will need access the G-Node through the local network
to which it is connected.


Steps to setup G-Cloud Client

**NOTE**: The G-Cloud Client is available only on physical G-Nodes *(G-Node-P)*.

To enable or disable the G-Node Cloud Client, navigate to ``Settings`` -> ``G-Cloud``:

The connection status of the G-Node Cloud Client can be checked on the status page:

To access the G-Node via iotplan.io, use a URL in the following format:

    https\://gnode-**<serial_number>**.iotplan.io

Replace **<serial_number>**  with the actual serial number of your G-Node. The serial number
is printed on the G-Node itself and can also be found in the top-right corner of the G-Node GUI.
